DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION
Scott Martindale brings over 13 years of educational leadership experience to the District. Previously, Martindale was employed by Gunter ISD and Iola ISD. He has served as an elementary principal, a high school principal, and as superintendent. He has been married for also 24 years to his wife Katie, and they have two daughters.
Dr. Lankford has been with Hudson Independent School District since 2001. After a 4 year active duty tour with the U.S. Marine Corps, he began his career in education in 2001 as the district’s first Business Manager and a few years later accepted the position as Chief Financial Officer of the District. Over the years, Dr. Lankford gained experience in both the educational realm as well as the school finance realm.
He is a 1987 graduate of Lufkin High School. Lankford received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University in 1991 and an MBA from Boston University in 1997. In addition, his career emphasis in education led him to pursue and earn a master’s in education in 2009 and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership in 2015 as well as his Superintendent Certification, all from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Dr. Lankford currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent of Finance and Operations and oversees all of the district budgets, construction projects, capital projects, Human Resources, risk management, etc.
Dr. Lankford and his wife, Christy have three grown sons (all Hudson graduates) and two daughters-in-law. Barrett and Christy also have three beautiful grandchildren, Ryker, Wren and Barrett John. Dr. Lankford and his family worship at Timberland Drive Church of Christ in Lufkin. His hobbies include hunting, fitness, and marksmanship. Dr. Lankford continues to serve as a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine reserves as a Marine Advisor to foreign security forces and partners. His tenants are loyalty, leadership, and mission accomplishment. His leadership approach is that of a servant leader with a heavy emphasis on teamwork. He believes Hudson is a great place to raise a family and considers it a blessing to call home.

Mr. Westbrook is a 2008 graduate of Hudson High School. He played collegiate baseball at Panola Junior College and Northwestern State University, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University and has completed his Superintendent certification through the University of Texas at Tyler.
Since joining Hudson ISD in 2017, Mr. Westbrook has served as an Assistant Principal, Associate Principal, and Athletic Director. He has been the Principal of Hudson High School since 2025.
Mr. Westbrook and his wife have been married since 2015 and have two beautiful children. He and his family are members of Harmony Hill Baptist Church. He loves the outdoors and taking trips with his family.
Mrs. Purvis is a 2012 graduate of Huntington High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Stephen F. Austin State University as well as a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Mrs. Purvis spent her first several years in education within Huntington ISD, serving in mathematics, language arts, and special education roles at the middle school and high school levels. Following her time in Huntington, Mrs. Purvis served as a math and science teacher at Zavalla High School. From 2022-2024, Mrs. Purvis taught various mathematics courses at Hudson High School before becoming an Assistant Principal in August of 2024.
Mrs. Purvis and her husband have been married since September of 2014 and are blessed with two beautiful daughters. She and her family attend Timber Creek Church in Lufkin, Texas. Mrs. Purvis enjoys traveling, baking, and all things home and holiday decor.
Mr. Olszewski has been with Hudson Independent School District since 2012. He began his career in education in 2010 at Carlisle ISD, serving as a Math Teacher. In 2012, Mr. Olszewski and his wife moved to the Lufkin area to take a teaching position at his alma mater, Hudson ISD.
He is a 2004 graduate of Hudson High School. Mr. Olszewski received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Public and Interpersonal Communication and Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Stephen F. Austin State University.
Mr. Olszewski and his wife have been married since 2009 and have twin daughters and a son. Mr. Olszewski and his family are members at Keltys First Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports (especially the Philadelphia Eagles), playing games, and watching movies.
Mrs. Dixon is a 2004 graduate of Hudson High School. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Public Relations from Stephen F. Austin State University in 2009 and her Master of Administration in Educational Leadership from Lamar University in 2024. She has served in the Special Education Department for seven years, with teaching experience in Inclusion, Resource English, and Career Preparation classes. In August 2025, Mrs. Dixon stepped into the role of Assistant Principal.
Mrs. Dixon and her husband have been married since May 2010 and have one son who also attends Hudson. Their family attends Denman Avenue Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas. Outside of school, Mrs. Dixon enjoys traveling with her family, reading, and baking.

Mrs. McClenny began her education career in 2008 teaching at-risk students in RLA and coaching volleyball, basketball, and soccer at Lindale Junior High and Lindale High School. After moving to Hudson in 2010, she worked for Central Middle School and Pineywoods Community Academy High School teaching math and mentoring the ECHS and P-TECH students at Angelina College. Mrs. McClenny is excited to be at Hudson ISD and is looking forward to working with the students in her community.
Mrs. McClenny graduated from Dickson County High School in Dickson, Tennessee. After graduating, she went to Florida College in the Tampa Bay area for two years where she was the keeper for the Lady Falcon soccer team. She received her Bachelor's in Science in Middle Grades Education from Western Kentucky University and her Master's in Education Leadership from UT Tyler.
Mrs. McClenny is married to Reagan McClenny, and she works and worships with her husband who is the evangelist for the Timberland Drive church of Christ. They have two daughters and a cat. Mrs. McClenny enjoys running and traveling with her family
Mr. Page is a proud graduate of Hudson ISD. He has been with the district since 2020, first serving as an assistant principal and, for the last three years, as the associate principal at Hudson Middle School.
After graduating from Hudson, Mr. Page worked at Temple-Inland for 10 years. During that time, he attended Stephen F. Austin State University part-time and graduated in 2009 with a degree in marketing. He then entered a teacher certification program at Stephen F. Austin State University and began teaching science at Corrigan Elementary.
Following that, Mr. Page taught and coached at Diboll Junior High for six years. He then became the 6th-grade assistant principal at Lufkin Middle School for two years.
Mr. Page enjoys building positive relationships with students to effectively encourage them to be the best version of themselves.
Mr. Myers is a 2008 graduate of Corrigan-Camden High School. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Sam Houston State University as well as a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Lamar University. Mr. Myers spent his initial years in education within Corrigan-Camden ISD, serving in mathematics and physical education at the middle school and elementary levels. Following his time in Corrigan, Mr. Myers served as a teacher and coach at Pineywoods Community Academy. From 2022-2024, Mr. Myers served as the Assistant Principal of the middle school and high school at Pineywoods Community Academy.
Mr. Myers and his wife have been married since December of 2024. He and his family attend Timberland Drive Church of Christ in Lufkin, Texas. Mr. Myers enjoys traveling, hunting, and attending baseball games throughout the country.
Kim Galloway has been with Hudson Independent School District since 2018. She spent 5 years as the assistant principal at Peavy Primary before taking on the role of Bonner Principal in 2023. She began her career in 2006 in the Dallas area as a 1st-grade teacher at Arlington ISD. During her 10 years with Arlington ISD, she taught 1st and 4th grade, served as a K-6 Instructional Coach, and worked for 2 years as a Campus Testing Facilitator.
She graduated from Stephen F. Austin in 2005 where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Early Childhood. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2011.
Mrs. Galloway has two daughters that both attend Hudson ISD and is very involved in the activities that Hudson offers. In her free time, she loves to travel with her husband, take trips to Crystal Beach, and spend time with her kids.
Mrs. Galloway looks forward to continuing her journey in administration with Hudson ISD. Her goal as an administrator is to establish a safe and nurturing environment in which all students can thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. She feels beyond blessed to work for such an amazing district full of fantastic leaders and a supportive community.
Mr. Lawrence began his career in education in 2009 in Splendora ISD, serving as a math teacher and guitar club sponsor. In 2012 he moved to Spring ISD where he served as a math teacher at Spring High School and was the Lions 4 Christ club sponsor from 2012-2019. After getting married, Mr. Lawrence and his wife moved back home to East Texas to be closer to family and taught math at Hudson High School from 2020-2022. He has been serving as an Assistant Principal at Bonner Elementary since 2022. They have one daughter, Hannah, and one son, Nate.
Mr. Lawrence is a 2005 graduate of Slocum High School. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Texas A&M University, Master of Arts in Church Ministries from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and graduated from the principal certification program at Lamar University.
Mr. Lawrence is an ordained Southern Baptist pastor, preaches regularly at Godtel Ministries in Lufkin, and worships at Keltys First Baptist Church. His personal hobbies include hunting, fishing, gardening, playing guitar, raising chickens, and traditional archery.
Ms. Horan joined the Hudson ISD faculty in 2014. She spent 9 years at Peavy Primary, teaching 1st grade and the 2nd grade Academy class. In 2022, She transitioned into the role of the Accountability and Assessment Coordinator for Peavy Primary and Bonner Elementary. During the 2023/2024 school year, Ms. Horan became an Assistant Principal at Bonner Elementary.
Ms. Horan began her teaching career in Lewisville ISD. She taught 1st grade in Lewisville for 5 years. She then moved to Lufkin and taught 1st grade ESL at Lufkin ISD for 7 years.
She graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2002. She went on to earn her Masters Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University in 2022.
Ms. Horan has 4 children, two are Hudson ISD graduates and two are currently students at HISD. She stays very busy with all her children’s activities! She loves to vacation at the beach and enjoys watching baseball!
She looks forward to continuing her new journey as an administrator and building lifelong relationships with students and parents.
Mrs. Mikeal has been with Hudson Independent School District since 2013. She began her career in education in 2000 at Lufkin ISD, serving as a 2nd grade teacher.
Mrs. Mikeal taught 1st grade at Peavy Primary in 2013, Assistant Principal at Peavy Primary from 2014-2017, and has been the Peavy Primary Principal from 2017-present.
Mrs. Mikeal is a 1996 graduate of Normangee High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies, Masters In Education and Principal Certification, all from Stephen. F. Austin University. She also holds her special education certification and ESL certification.
Mrs. Mikeal shares a true love for children. She can guarantee that everything she does and every decision she makes will be based on what is best for students. Her goal is to create a safe, welcoming, respectful and fun learning environment. Mrs. Mikeal's door is always open and she welcomes parent input.
Mrs. Mikeal and her husband have been married since 2000 and have 2 sons. Raising children is a rewarding and inspiring experience that happily consumes most of her free moments. When time allows, she enjoy traveling, hunting and fishing with her family.
Megan Murry has been with Hudson Independent School District since 2007. She began her career as a Kindergarten ESL teacher at W.F. Peavy Primary from 2007-2019. She taught first grade from 2019-2021, before moving in to her new role as the assistant principal at Peavy Primary from 2021-present.
She graduated from Huntington High School in 2002. Mrs. Murry earned her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies Early Childhood Education-4 th grade, at Stephen F. Austin State University in 2006. She received her ESL certification in 2008. She earned her Master’s Degree in Education Administration, with her Principal’s Certification through Lamar University in 2017.
Mrs. Murry and her husband have one son and one daughter. They are both proud to have their children attend Hudson ISD.
Mrs. Murry’s hobbies include working in her yard, shopping, and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Murry so excited to continue her journey as an administrator for Hudson ISD. She holds the highest standards and expectations for every child who enters Peavy. Mrs.
Murry feels it is crucial that students develop into lifelong learners and receive the education that will allow every student to be successful. She looks forward to working with all teachers, staff and parents in helping to ensure that all students reach their full potential.
Mrs. Dori Lair has been employed at Hudson Independent School District since 2015.
Mrs. Lair is a 1993 graduate of Lufkin High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from McMurry University. She has a Masters in Legal Studies with a focus on education law from Nova Southeastern University and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Tyler.
She began her career in education in 1998 at Lufkin ISD, serving as an ESL kindergarten teacher for four years, before taking time off to stay home with her children. Upon returning to education, Mrs. Lair taught second grade for Nacogdoches ISD for one year and then transitioned to Hudson. She taught second grade at Peavy Primary from 2015-2020. In 2021 Dori became a Response to Intervention teacher and a Dyslexia Teacher teacher on the Peavy campus. Then in the fall of 2023, Dori assumed the position of Assistant Principal at Peavy Primary.
Mrs. Lair has four sons who are all graduates of Hudson and were very involved in the basketball program. She also has two stepsons that live in the area. In her spare time, she loves visiting her boys at Texas State University and spending time with her husband.
